05 Montana sv6

Im getting check engine light and when I plug in my obd2 reader the meter won't power up.it will work on any other vehicle. Is there a fuse or something that supplies power to it.also not getting much volume from radio.any ideas. Thanks

Yes there is a fuse for the obd, check your manual or the lid of the fuse block for the description and location. I have an 03 but ur 05 is different.

The port is usually controlled by the cigarette lighter fuse.

did you actually test the fuse in the instrument panel fuse box marked CIGAR/DIC/APO FRT, Page 5-94, Also 1995 was a year where they had OBDI with OBDII connector does your scanner do both types or require an adaptor ?
