I just bought a 2005 sunfire 2.2 ecotech with only 95000 KM on it. The thing was in great condition. 1 owner...old lady and she passed away. The gas gage is stuck.on E but it was a full tank. They said because it sat for so long it might just be stuck.but should come.lose. was driving.it from Ottawa to Kingston, when it started to bogg out...lose power.. go again, then it just quit. I had only driven 154KM. A tank of gas on this car should last for 300 to 400km. Then then back.two windows would not go all.the way up. It would start but die just as it turned over. I THINK i can hear the fuel pumps stop pumping once it shuts down. I was stranded on the side of the hwy from midnight till a friend found me from my fb post at 7am. Had car towed rest of way home. I out gas in it since people made comment run out of gas?? Nope still doing it. I tried to check.filter.but 1 screw will mot.come.off. I got a P0171 code on it. I am going.to try tjos link.
