05 sunfire transaxle removal

to remove transaxle do they just pop out oftransmission and wheel with some prying? trying to remove engine-- thanks ray

I believe the easiest way is to remove them as an assembly. Are you using a shop manual to assist you?

No i don"t have a manual--just want to get transaxle out of transmission-can't remember if prying back on them will pop them out

Before I saw a video of a mechanic doing it, he used a prybar to pop the transaxle out of the transmission.
