Hello All,
I have a friend.....lol Has a 2006 SV6 3.5. As he shifts through the range the dash red light for the gear may or may not come on. Of course the vehicle has the associated no start problem. He will mess with the shifter until the red light appears under P or try in neutral.
Researching tells me the switch is inside the trans axle on the other side of the valve body.
Is this worth messing with on ramps. The switch runs around 35$ and his quote to have it done was 2500$ in MI. Anyone out there tackled this? Thanks in advance.
