Soooo like many others I am having problems with my 06 Torrent. Last week I drove it into town and when I went back out to the car it wouldn't start. It would crank then die. Had it towed to my mechanic. He kept it over night because he was having a hard time figuring out the problem. He replaced the transmission relay switch saying the car thought it was in gear when it wasn't. That night I went for a drive and while I was stopped at a light, I heard a strange noise coming from the glove box. It sounded like a cell phone alarm going off and then all of a sudden my car died. Wouldn't turn over or crank. Lights and radio still worked but nothing else. The dash lit up like a Christmas tree.
Towed back to the mechanic where it has been for almost a week now. He replaced the ignition switch, checked the fuel pump and a few other things. Every time he runs a diagnostic, he gets a different error code. And when he fixes that problem he gets a new one. Now the windows won't roll back up..
Anyone have any ideas????
