08 Pontiac Torrent Remote Start problem

Hi all,
New to this . . . Lets give 'er a try. Proud owner of an 08 Torrent. Having an issue with the remote start / keyless entry. Only works if you are within 10 feet away. Car salesman 1 me 0. Brought back to local dealer (where purchased) 3 times while under warranty. No fault found . . . replaced batteries in both fab's . . . replaced key fab. . . never better than the 1st time. I have tried inspecting and cleaning chassis / cab grounds. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

while under warranty, did they ever get it to work beyond 10 feet? Is the dealer a GM dealer? did you buy this new? if it is a GM dealer and they never could resolve the problem while under warranty, did you ever try contacting GM customer service? They should have pursued replacing the receiver while under warranty.
