08 Torrent GXP AWD, tranny went bad, common?

Woundering if anyone with an AWD Torrent GXP has had issues with there tranny? Mine went out at 35K miles. Dealership said bearing are bad and GM first was going to fix it and now going to replace it. As it had a loud supercharger wine under the hood and came back to being that.

Just curious if other GXP owners have issues with there Hydromatic 6T75 (MH6) I know the G6 GXPs dont but theres is 6T70 (MH2) trannys.

Am just asking as have had bunch of random issues with my G6 GTP and my GFs Torrent GXP. Just tired of both cars sitting up at shops all the time. And just looking to see if any other issues might pop up and know what to look for before its out of warrenty like happened with my GTP. On the Torrent already have had the rack-n-pinnon changed, sway bar links, heated seat relys, now the tranny.

My tranny slams into 4th when slowing down to downshift. I know its 4th because I put it in manual mode and watched it drop gears and it is 4th everytime. Even in manual mode when I drop to 4th it slams into gear. No problem with upshifts and every other gear up and downshifts fine. Gonna take it to dealership before powertrain warranty is up.

Tranny has been acting normal now for the past 3 weeks so I havent been to dealership yet. I think I read somewhere there is a software update for shift lag? Not sure so maybe I will call my dealer and see. Thanks
