08 Torrent GXP Gas Mileage/vehicle Reliability

I'm going to look at the vehicle on Sunday. My concern is the gas mileage and the reliability. I've read mixed reviews. I live in Florida and its use will consist of basic traveling(work, school and errands). The carfax shows that all maintenance has been performed regularly and at the same dealership. I did not see any major repairs. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

As far as EPA ratings they are 16 City 24 Highway with a combinded of 19. The car is a little high on mileage, should be 72K on a 6 year old, but the price seems to be adjusted for that fact.
