First off my 08 Torrent has an issue with noise coming from the steering column when turning. It is a rubbing sound. I know there is a TSB out for this issue but I have not bothered wasting the money on taking it in yet.

New Issues.
The turn signal indicator no longer makes an audible "tick, tick" noise inside the vehicle anymore. The lights all operate fine, just no audible indication. (Constant Problem)

The driver door does not lock using the key fob or the interal power lock switch. All other doors operate fine. I have to manually lock the door and then use key to open it. (Constant Problem)

The radio does not always turn off once the driver door opens which it should, once the driver door closes the radio turns off. (Intermittent Problem)

Anybody experience any of these issues and has some advice I would greatly appreciate it.

1. Have you checked for any blown fuses including checking for a bad flasher?
2. The door lock actuator has to be replaced.
3.Does the interior light come on when you open the door?

Have not checked any fuses yet but all the flashers work.

Yes the interior light comes on when the door opens but don't know if the light comes on when the radio/door issue is acting up. Wifey's vehicle.

Found the Problem

Found the problem to be some borken wires in the harness from the driver door to the vehicle.
Attached some good links describing the issues and a link for door panel removal.

I simply removed the harness enough so I could solder the wires back together. Works good, hopefully for a long time.
