1 Issue and then looking for a trans person

I have a 1986 2M6 with about 171k on it. I just bought the car. It runs great for about 20 min and then cuts off. Really hard to restart almost will kill a new battery. Then will run for about 2 min and cuts off. What can this be?

The other is I live in Fredericksburg, VA the car needs a Clutch. I think that I can do it myself but what type of clutch is the best because this is going to be a commuter car. If I can't do it myself who in my area can do this.

stalling n clutch job

hello my name is claudio
i have an 88 fiero formula
im in south florida
ok the stalling can be do to a few reasons.........
first what does it do when it cuts off............ is it fuel or electric problem...??
one you know that it will be easier to diagnose......

ok clutch job........trans must come out from bottom.....
easiest way is jack rear of car up {real high} and drop sub frame n emgine assy.
seperate trans from engine on floor........
as far as type of clutch for a daily driver.......
you my want a slightly heavy duty clutch........
