take the lugs nuts off, and put the new rim on, tighten the lug nuts
just make sure you get the right bolt pattern, and some tires with the right aspect ratio. I used to have a grand am, a 1996. I had 17s on it, looked not too bad.
Bolt pattern is 5 x 100, and you would need a tire probably 225/35/18 or so.
