If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... I'm looking for pics, or any information.

My grandfather bought a 1955 Pontiac Chieftain brand new in So Cal. I remember the rear deck had two, large plastic cones that I *think* were just to direct the speaker sound from the rear speakers. The cones quickly yellowed in the Mohave Desert sun. So the cones are not an integral part of the speaker, but just a bolt on accessory.

Does anybody remember these? Were they factory, or a dealer add-on?

Thanks for looking.
