• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... New to the forum and trying to gather a specific piece of information. Currently underway with a frame off restoration of a '60 Bonneville and need to know what color Pontiac painted the underside.
We sandblasted the bottom and found no trace of red oxide primer which I thought it should be (car was never touched before) but it did have factory undercoating with what appeared to be a black primer underneath. Does anyone know what the correct color should be ?

try posting your question at www.oldride.com may want to broaden it to what did GM do in general to the underbody.
