Did you test the socket for the bulb?
I assume it uses 1157 bulbs?

yes a ohmmeter . i put the leads on the terminals and it beeped , i pushed the button in and it stopped beeping , or it beeped when the button was pushed

So you confirmed the switch is good. You have to look and test the bulb sockets and the connection on the switch for power.

Problem solved ,it’s the brake switch adjustment , took the switch out reconnected it and bingo got my brake lights back , thanks for all the help……..
