Has anyone installed these and what type of clearance issues did you encounter? did you have to reshape them? and what kind of clearance from moving parts and steering shaft/assembly? thx Mad dog states i may have to make a "dent" on the driver side pipes but i don't know what that really entails.

Doubt you will find anyone here with a 61 and also using those headers. Your best bet is to contact Maddog and ask for more details. It's not uncommon with any car/header to have to dent a tube. There was a YouTube video where they repeatly increased the size of a tube dent with virtually no effect on power.
