If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Hi, First off I will tell you that I know a little about cars enough to get into trouble. Any ways here is my question i have a 1962 pontiac tempest motor in a 1953 3B willy's that my dad and I were working on he has passed away and I was looking around to see if there was a way to get rid of the points and go electronic.

It is the 195cid with a holley 4 barrel I know some machine work has been done to it and it has a bigger cam but as for specs I dont remember.

Any help would be appreciated thanks.

John

is the distributore similar to later Delco units? If so mallory makes an infrared module that would drop right in to replace the points. Go to www.summitracing.com to find them
