Hello,
I have recently acquired a 1962 Catalina 4 door pillarless hardtop, which is in need of a complete interior overhaul.
the vehicle sat in the weather for nearly 15 years, with the factory weather-stripping being essentially nonexistent. So the door panels are shot. they are not only weather damaged but seriously deformed, beyond repair. the require complete replacement.
I realize that I could have an upholstery shop remake them from scratch. But my question is, since the car is based on the same platform as the Biscayne and Impala, will Chevrolet door panels for the same year fit the doors of the Catalina?
I've found a similar question here: regarding an Oldsmobile. Will '62 Impala door panels fit '62 Dynamic? - ClassicOldsmobile.com.
and I am hopeful a Pontiac expert can enlighten me if this is even possible.
Thanks!
