Hi guys,I am a new firebird owner!
I just bought a 67 firebird project & the guy I
bought it from thought it was a firebird 400 series. It
came with a hood that didn't have the scoops, but it
did have a 400 rearend that looks like it's
been there from the get go.The deck lid also had the
400 embelem on it.I beleave the 400 had a "f3" on the
trim tag,but myne dosen't have it.
If I am correct, this turns out to be the 640th firebird ever made.
Have you ever heard of the early 400 series not haveing it
marked on the trim tag in the first few months?
Here is what my body tag -or- trim tag looks like...

I did a "tag anylizer" on the 1st generation
firebird web site:

I came up with the information below:
1967 Pontiac Firebird Coupe
The paint was Cameo Ivory with Cameo Ivory upper body
color.
The trim color and material were Medium Red Vinyl
Soft-ray Tinted Glass (Windshield Only)
This car was number 640 built in the 1st week of
February at the Lordstown, Ohio plant.
This must have been made on the first week of
production according to another site which reads:
which reads...
But with its split front grille, beaked hood and
slitted GTO-like taillights, the Firebird managed to
evoke its own personality when it went on sale as both
a coupe and convertible on February 23, 1967.
This is the site I got that info from:

My body tag dosn't appear to be a 400,because it
should have a "F 3" in the options catagory.
Does anyone know any information about the 1st few
days of firebird production?
Is the fact that this is the 640th firebird to
roll off the production line make it any more
valueable?
Thankyou for your time...Tom
