I took out my 326 and built a 455 to install in my 1967 LaMans convertible. The starter wires are real close to the exhaust manifold. Is there a heat shield or something that I need to increase the life of the wires. I don't want to melt new wires and have any unnecessary issues. Any pictures or how to properly run the wires is greatly appreciated... Thanks in advance!!

if you look in catalogs from www.amesperf.com there were some metal tubes used for the wiring on certain engines but going from a 326 to a 455 shouldnt have changed the wiring routing.
