1968 400 firebird questions

I'm kicking tires on a 1968 firebird 400 and it has the factory vinyl top mouldings, but the roof is painted. Did the vinyl get removed or was a painted roof available? I haven't checked the body tag yet. Thanks!

I've only seen painted roofs on A body cars and they had the factory vinyl top mouldings, just wasn't sure if it was available on an F body. I'll sure get the PHS, if the deal even gets that far.
