If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... As far as I know this is an original 1968 Tempest, GTO, and Grand Prix Bumper Jack Column, 6" X 8" Base without any stampings, and lug wrench. The jack measures 33 1/2" long and is stamped "8B" on the rivet head as shown in photos #2, #3, and #10. I removed this jack from a 1968 Tempest decades ago.

The lug wrench measures about 15" on the long section, about 3 3/4" along the short section, and about
17" along the diagonal (center to center). The lug head does not have any markings on it. it is for 3/4" lug nuts. The lug head measures about 1 1/4" outside diameter, about 1/8" larger outside diameter lug head than many of my 3/4" hex Chevrolet lug wrenches.

The jack column has a "trapezoidal shaped" cross section and is stamped "UN" on the up-down lever and was made by the Universal Tool Co.

I had cleaned these parts with my wire wheel to remove any surface rust from these jack parts.

The jack column assembly is in good condition as shown in the photos but the mechanism needs to be repainted blue.

The base is in good condition except for some rust pitting on the bottom side as shown in photo #12 and should be repainted.

The lug wrench has been cleaned with my wire wheel to remove surface rust but there is some minor pitting from rust but basically is in good restorable condition.

Shipping will be via UPS Ground in a 36" X 8" X 5" box weighing 12 lbs. from Merrimack, NH, 03054.

$80 plus shipping cost and Paypal fee (if applicable).

If interested, send me a PM. Dave

Dave's 68' GTO Jack Package.
Still available?
Sorry about that last message. Forgot the description info...

Back in 2021 I gave up on selling the 1968 jack on this site after a few months. It has been well over 1 1/2 years and I still have the jack but just forgot about it until recently. I sell mostly Camaro parts on the NastyZ28 site.
If I do not here from you in the next few weeks I will put the jack on Ebay for $100 to cover the Ebay fees.
Dave

I did not get any on my email about the jack that I was selling. I am a new member as well. After a few months I gave up. I only have a few vintage Pontiac parts. I have mostly 1970-1981 Camaro parts that I have collected for the last 30 or more years. I sell mostly on the NastyZ28 site and get emails letting me know when members are interested in buying parts from me. I now rarely sell my parts on Ebay.

You won't get direct messages from a new member but will get an email that someone added a post to this thread.

Yes, I just noticed the 2 emails from you that actually went to junk mail so I will change them to regular email.
Thanks.
