1971 lemans hood

hello everyone, i am deployed to afghanistan now and obviously when i get back i would like to restore my 1971 pontiac lemans. i have a kink in my hood from the old hinges, i replaced the hinges and the hood is still hard to close. i know thats a pontiac thing.

my question is, are there any fiberglass hoods available for the 71 lemans, WITHOUT the endura front end. i would like to get one and just use hood pins to secure it, or pay the price for smaller springs.

thank you so much, thats perfect. now one more quick questtion, i would need to use different springs on the hinges correct? or would i be better off buying the aftermarket hinges for a fiberglass hood?

yes you definitely can not use the original springs, I would go with the after market hinge designed for the fiberglass hood.
