1971 t37????

I'm brand new to this forum and am seeking advice. I just came across a 1971 T37 2 dr ht that's for sale here locally for $6,000. The owner says there's a 400 cu engine in it and it looks like it's got an automatic transmission with a floor shifter. He also says it has a new interior. The pictures of it on line aren't real helpful and I have no idea if this car is worth what he's asking for it.

Any advice out there for a newbie hot rod buyer who wishes he'd kept his 67 Goat that he had years ago?

try looking at www.collectorcarmarket.com . If you are concerned about originality make sure the engine pad has the last 6 numbers of the VIN and that the engine code is appropriate for 1971. You can also ask if he has any original paperwork or has anything from www.phs-online.com
