If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Im having some trouble and hopefully someone can help me. My car is all original parts engine except for the rims, the headers, the air filter and the gastank. I recently took it to a mechanic to get the tank replaced and have a tune up done and they said all was fine. Everything is good except every now and then it wont start. At first i thought battery and had that checked but it was full. Then i tried the spark plugs. They're loose but not to the point where i should be having problems. The only thing left is the starter but i dont know how to check it without taking it back to the mechanic and them inevitably charging me an arm and a leg with all these fees. Any suggestions?

what do you mean your spark splugs are loose? They should be installed with a spark plug socket, rubber lined, and made snug, do not strip the threads. What do you mean it wont start? Does the starter turn the engine and it doesnt ignite or the starter does not turn the engine?

I got both of the problems fixed actually just a little work and i havent had a problem since i posted this. :)
