How do I find out if my T/A came with a plastic front valance panel as most owners replaced damaged one with the steel replacements

this sites claims all 72's had plastic from the factory

Thanks Melsg5, now take a look on that same site under steel Valance and it states it replaces late 72's. it's a good place to start though

Yes I saw that also, do you know the date of manufacture for your car?

Don't have a picture of the data plate and the car is off site but i think it was 3rd week of November 71

Then I would say it would original came with plastic one.

My old 72 T/A (long sold) was Built in Jan 1972 and it had a Plastic one, I remember because I broke it on a concrete parking lot stop block.

I agree on being plastic since it is an early production vehicle.
