1974 455 Spun Bearing Rebuild Questions

Just bought a 74 with a 455. Has a spun bearing and I am looking to rebuild it.

As I have to go down this road what are some recommendations for my rebuild?

Any good rebuild kids out there? Anything I need to check damage wise besides the obvious?

i would try and figure out why the bearing spun. Before you start buying anything i'd send the disassembled block, crank and heads out for testing.

68firebird400 Is Correct Get Things Checked Out But It Is Important To Some Find A Machinist That Knows How To Work On Pontiac Engines Some Prefer To Work On Chevrolet Or Ford Or Dodge Find One That Has A History With Pontiacs

2 Crank Cut
3 Replace Head Bolts
4 Resurface All Flat Surfaces
