My air conditioning line(small aluminum) that runs into the evaporator broke.. I need to replace this...To remove the evaporator case is this a big job? I just need to run that little line to the evaporator. I removed most bolts and it doesn't seem to budge. I don't wish to break anything.. Is this just a plastic case around the evaporator or something that I shouldn't mess with? thanks

I could be wrong, but there's probably some sealant keeping it together. And your probably going to have to replace the entire evap, don't know that you can just replace the lines. I'm interested in what others think. AC work is something i've always left to guys that do it for a living.

I took it apart..The case splints in the middle. Sure enough have to replace the whole evaporator for the line...
