In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Hello, an auction house has received for consignment a 1975 Pontiac Grand Prix Tuxedo Edition that's said to be the only one in existence, near mint, 455 4bl, silver and black, does anyone know about this car? Thanks!

For 1975 there were models J Base, LJ, and SJ. For someone to claim the only one in existence doesn't mean much unless it is more clearly defined. The only one made by Pontiac, the only one made by a Pontiac dealer, or the only one because someone customized a car? Is there any paper work to substantiate the claim? Does www.phs-online.com confirm the claim? For something to be a "Edition" there has to be a RPO number associated with it and the number show on the vehicles build sheet. Do you have any other details?

I'm with Mel, no paper work --no deal.

Could be just a special addition, many were made by all GM dealers in house in the mid to late 70's to boost sales....

Not to uncommon................................;)

Thanks

Thank you for your suggestions. The car will go live in a few weeks at ebth.com should you have an interest. Best.

I have a 1975 Pontiac Grand Prix Tuxedo Collection. It can be seen on E-Bay # 271886817062. What auction house was that at?
