1976 Pontiac Trans AM Special Edition L75 455 - Only 110 Units Produced!!
VIN No. 2W87W6N567004
Engine: 455 CI V-8 (L75)
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
The Pontiac Firebird was built by the Pontiac division of General Motors between 1967 and 2002. The Firebird was introduced the same year as its platform-sharing cousin, the Chevrolet Camaro. The vehicles were, for the most part, powered by various V8 engines of different GM divisions. While primarily Pontiac-powered until 1977, Firebirds were built with several different engines from nearly every GM division until 1982 when all Pontiac engines were dropped in favor of corporate units.
In 1976, Pontiac celebrated their 50th Anniversary, and a special edition of the Trans Am was released. Painted in black with gold accents, this was the first anniversary Trans Am package and the first production Black and Gold special edition.
Offered here is a 1976 L75 Limited Edition, T-Top Trans Am. Of the 643 limit Editions produced that year, only a mere 110 units had the L75 engine; making this a very unique find!
Factory features: Air conditioning, alloy/sport wheels, AM/FM stereo, power steering, brakes, brakes and windows, rear defroster, and tilt steering, and rare black chrome tail splitter exhaust. The Trans Am is documented by Pontiac Historic Service with a photo-static copy of the original build sheet.
Upgrades: Koni shocks, replacement of all rubber suspension bushings, sub-frame connectors, H-O Racing Specialties cam and Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold.
Original "Honeycomb" wheels, inflatable space saver spare, owner’s general information and operating instruction manual are included along with the Trans Am.
* 50th Anniversary Special Edition!
* Very rare, with only 110 units produced!
* Fantastic driver, a real head turner!
For Only: $37,500.00
