I bought a restored 78 TA. New Battery, was firing up just fine. Then I just get a click. Light still work and don't dim when trying to start. New starter before purchase. Battery cables appear fine. Anyone have an idea of the problem?
The starting circuit is pretty basic....Does it start with jumpers? If so, it is probably the battery. If not, I would check the cables and connections at the battery and starter.
