1979 pontiac firebird formula hp increases?

Just wondering some of the things i could do. Its a 1979 formula with an Oldsmobile 6.6 403. I have already put a holly 670, and an edelbrock carb. Want to put headers, just wondering if a shift kit would be worth the while, and if i could use one of those MSD things. thanks for all answers.

msd ignition always helps, maybe a cam to go with the headers?

I got a 78 formula and im putting a pontiac 400 in it so its always nice to see someone else with one. Could alwasy go to a 750 carb and a bigger intake man. Headers would be real nice, and if your will to spend the money on heads. Or get some mufflers
