Hey everyone! Thanks for the add! Michigan native, proud owner of a 79 Trans Am I inherited from my late uncle. She's seen better days, but I want to bring her back to life and back to glory.
Quick question; I was looking at installing subframe connectors on my bird to tie the front rails in with the rear rails. I'm putting in new floor pans and I wanted to beef up the sturdiness overall before I lay the new floor in.
Is there a brand that anyone recommends? I've been looking at two sets primarily, one from Detroit Speed, and the other from Hotchkins.
I'm going to weld whatever I end up installing. But a bolt on kit isn't out of the question, because welding can always be an afterthought. Please let me know what you think!!
