1982 firebird rear end?

ive got a 1982 firebird and its still got the stock rear end in it. anyone know wat the ratio was and wether its 7.5 or 8 in?

You are not giving enough information to answer you question. Which model firebird? What transmission, manual or automatic? What engine V6, V8?

All third and fourth gen rears are 7.5"/7.625" there was no other rearend offered..
they were the same for all 6/8 cylinder cars
the ratios depended on the engine and trans but can be decoded from the "G" codes in the center console
look for codes like Gu 6, Gu 4 and go to your local dealer for what ratio the code is..
