Hello all,

I just purchased a beautiful 1984 Sunbird convertible. She's a true survivor with only 40,000 miles. I got a very quick introduction as I drove her 1,300 miles home in 2 days. The car drove really well and the only issue I have is the horn won't honk, it just clicks. I have read this is usually a relay issue. I have a new relay on the way. But I'm unsure where it's supposed to go. Should it be by the fuses? That's what I've read but I don't see one there. I'm attaching a photo of my fuse panel. If anyone can help a clueless Sunbird owner, I'd appreciate it!

Did it come with the owners manual?

It did. But no mention of the relays. Just a fuse diagram. Which doesn't reference the relay.

When you hear clicking , usually means the relay is working, check the power to thehorn and make sure the horn has a clean ground ...

Mine died from too much water getting in it...had to buy a replacement...

I'll check my books to see where they relays are mounted...87+ are on the passenger inner fender near the cowl, under the hood...

Nothing in my Haynes or Chilton books, nothing online either... Might need to buy a GM service manual off eBay....
