1986 Fiero Trunk light

Hi My boss has a 1986 fiero and we can not find out how to turn off the trunk light as it seems to stay on 24/7 draining the battery. is there a switch we have missed some where.

The switch is part of the decklid latch on the decklid. There should be a plastic triangle that covers the center that turns the light off when it is pushed to the side. If the plastic piece is broken the light stays on.
