1987 Firebird Excessive Fuel Consumption

My firebird is burning all 14 gallons of gas in the tank in just 90 miles. I know the car wont get 400 miles to the tank but it should do better than 90 miles. I checked the choke and it works fine. The timing doesnt seem to be off at all either.

Do you smell gas and have you checked for a leak. Do you get tons of black smoke coming out the tailpipe?
