1987 Pontiac Fiero GT high idle.?

ok, so I ve changed TPS and IAC sensors, EGR, EGR tube gaskets, intake manifold gaskets,and a throttle body gasket. When I put in gear it idles at 2900RPM, when it Park or Neutral 4000RPM.
What should I do (besides getting a diff car)?thx

When you changed the IAC, Did you drive the car? The IAC is reset by the computer when the vehicle is being driven at 40 mph.

When you changed the throttle body gasket, Did you check the intake hose? It plugs into the backside bottom of the throttle body. It has an O-ring for a seal. If the tube isn properly seated or the O-ring rolled during installation, it will be a huge leak.
