This is not a question. i wanted to say that ive read a lot of bad things about my type of car, but to be quite honest, they aren't that bad! I got my car july '07, and ive replaced the carbureter, radiator fan motor (twice), tires, front end, headlight motors(twice. once rebuilt, the second replaced.), transmission mount, transmision next week, headlights, driverside headlight frame, hatch shocks, spark plugs and wires, fuses (my sister drove it and fried all the fuses! WTF!), a/c compressor belt (it was missing), muffler (to glass pack for that extra vroom), the hood (traded for a cowl
). so adding the repeat jobs, thats 18 things done in the past year. for a car thats older than i am, its great to only have to do that. Ive also heard that 305's are dogs, but i have one and its the best running motor i've ever had. to me its a happy medium. it doesn't go through gas like a 350, but its got a shit load of power over the v-6. i think people just look at one that has not been taken care of and says that the whole lot is shit, but mine is great. only problem is since its carb., it has to warm up. i guess you can post whether you agree, disagree, or you can share your firebird/camaro story if you want. k bye. oh almost forgot i had to do my own wiring for the headlight motors as well cuz a ground wire burned up somewhere. WTF!
