• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... I just got my Firebird about a week ago and the first thing I want to do is clean out all the unwanted emissions parts from the engine compartment and reduce the electronics to the bare essentials. My first thing is to remove the smog pump but being a newbie I don't know the correct steps to do this. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

plug the ports in the exhaust manifold and remove the rest.

Thanks for the advise. Unfortunately the fan quit working and over heated the car so I have to fix that first now
