I have a 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT 5 speed 2.8L and I am not getting any continuity into the car from the VSS sensor wires, I am checking it on the purple and yellow wire, Is this correct?, and also when the wires come off of the VSS sensor they go back into the trans housing, can anyone tell me where they come back out and into the harness at, I'm pretty sure I have a bad wire somewhere, but would like to make sure continuity is making it out of the trans first before I take the heat tape off and start chasing the harness, any help would be greatly appreciated. Also just a note, I just put a brand new VSS sensor in with the red gear and it is set good.
