It's being sold for 800 dollars. Should I buy it?
1988 Pontiac fiero 82k miles needs new carb and some interior work?

What's wrong with it? $800 for an 88 fiero with only 82K on it is really really really cheap unless it's in horrible condition.
Fiero's never had carbs on them.
So if it is a carb, someone changed it.
Or it might be that it is a 4-cyl engine and what you see is the throttle-body- injection.
For $800 for a 1988 is not a bad price. The Fiero Store www.fierostore.com has the parts to fix up the car mechanically and The Fiero Factory www.fierofactory.com has decent used parts to fix up the interior.
I would buy it.

wow I didn't even notice he said carb...! good catch oreif.
Honestly it's a good deal if it's a good car. but 82K on an 88 is generally, on my side of the country, selling for about 2500-3500 in fair condition. So sorry orief I've gotta disagree with you slightly on this one, purely do to the miles year. Then again to let MKDVVT know, Orief here is one of our more knowledgable fiero guys.
