1989 Firebird

In my area with cars in similar year and condition go for around $3,000. They also tend to be full of rust. (I live in Canada and never seen anywhere else use as much salt of roads for winter. Very bad in Ontario). I`m not sure why though but my area will ALWAYS charge a lot more than what the car would be worth in a better condition. I would say you could not go wrong for $800, and going to assume it`s completely rust free(?).

Cole, if it drives well, smooth shifting, and is relatively sound, you did very well for $800. I saw what looked like a little rust down by the rocker panels with the door open, but from the video and pictures, the body looks pretty straight.

Being in AZ you need to go through the cooling system to make sure it's sound, in good shape. I'm guessing you'll be doing a fresh LOF as well.

I'd say you've got a lot to work with here, nice!

When I was driving it home, it slipped out of gear, so I pulled over and got some trany fluid, that seem to do it, but its got somethings not good, AC dosnt work (blows alittle, but hot air) but really not any thing else. besides a tune up I think im good. and its my first car, im 16 and love these older cars.
