Howdy, I have a 1989 firebird, v6 2.8l, I've been working on restoring it and recently I noticed when backing up, taking turns, coasting, there is a pop, rattle coming from the front right of the car, I jacked it up and checked the brake pads, and tested to make sure the wheel didn't jiggle when pushing on the outside edges. also tightened the lugs. but the sound goes on! Any help or ideas is greatly appreciated!

There are a lot of things that can cause the noise you're describing. You could have bad lower control arm bushings, bad lower ball joint, or a worn out bearing plate on the strut among other things. It's best to take it to someone who can get the car off the ground to check it out.

Drat ok, thanks I'll get it to my brothers garage and use his lift. Thanks.
