Have 1990 2L Turbo Sunbird which has 65,000 mi. Ran Great and engine oil changed regularly. It sat idle in garage over winter and in spring turbo would not operate in positive zone. Negative zone was ok but then started sticking with "check engine" light comming on. Just recently stuck all of the time and will not even kick free into negative zone. Concerned with ability to get proper, knowlegable service or parts from dealer. Concerned with operating while turbo is stuck and engine light is on. Car in Minneapolis, MN. Any suggestions as to cause or referals for service/parts? Also, will it damage or make things worse if operated with this problem?
