car ran fine at first then out of nowhere it died and said there was no oil pressure on the dash.idk what happened or what could cause it, a while later i turned it on and ran fine, i go stuck somewhere so i drove home and its been sittin for a day now. its fine on oil i checked already, tranny fluid is low, idk if that has anything to do with it tho.there was a small leak under the car when this happened but i think its stopped. the car is a 1993 pontiac firebird trans am 5.7 LT1 v8 97000 miles.
the small leak under the car was oil by the way and the car didnt see, to want to go above 40-45 mph so i drove home like that.
WELL I JUST CHECKED MY TRANNY FLUID AND TESTED IT AND ITS FINE BUT MY OIL SMELLS LIKE GAS SO WHAT CAN BE WRONG NOW?????

I'd say your oil pump is having issues. You should take close look and smell at the tranny fluid also to make sure it didn't get burnt while it was low. I have a nagging feeling there's something I'm missing related to the speed restriction as well. A tranny problem doesn't seem like the right thing to be causing that but maybe if it wouldn't upshift out of second?
