I have a 94 Firebird that only runs when it is cool. It runs great until it gets warm, then the gauges bounce around and it dies, and wont start again until it cools down. I have changed the ignition coils in it, and have no other idea of what could be wrong. If any one has had a similar problem, or could offer any help, that would be great.

crankshaft timing sensor?

If the gauges are bouncing around i would think electrical problem. As far as it shutting off after its warmed up, could be the ignition switch itselft getting hot,i dont mean the key switch either, im talking about the one thats on the lower steering column.Could also be a bad brain.
