HELP! I have had problems with anti freeze leaking, but not sure from where. I have had the rad replaced under warranty.. going on 4th time. This time, broke down on highway..overheated..no fluid left and big mess. towed back to rad place to see if it was the hose, as there was fluid everywhere. Stearing locked and a bugger to push. Any thoughts on the problem? I seem to add antifreeze every 2 weeks.?

Any idea where under the car it's pooling at? That will give you an idea as to where it's leaking. There's only so many places...radiator, hose connections, hoses, thermostat, block, etc. Fortunately it sounds like an external leak, since you're getting coolant on the ground. An internal leak would create less of a mess on the ground but would damage your engine.

Easy checks are at the radiator cap, the hose from the radiator to the recovery tank (sometimes they're loose and spill out), the top and bottom hoses and their connections, and water pump, thermostat elbow and the other external locations on the engine. A good inspection will hopefully reveal where it's leaking from. Look for signs of water leaking, rust spots, etc. if no coolant is seen.

Might Check The Plastic Peice On The Upper Part Of The Head, It Always Leaks, And It Leaks On The Bottom Side Where You Can't See It.

had that problem

try to see if its the heater core that went on my car
and all the fluid drained out in the matter of a couple minutes:mad:
