My 94 firebird has 180,000 miles. It has never been neglected. Recently I noticed that when I start the car (cold) it has great oil pressure. As it gets warm the oil pressure drops at idle. It is ok while im driving. when the car is in gear at idle the oil pressure goes to 0 and the warning light comes on..it goes back up when i push on the gas.(oil level is normal and oil looks good) WHAT COULD THIS BE...SHOULD I BE WORRIED

Should you be worried? Ugh yes, I dont think it goes down to zero and the light just come on for no reason. I'd get it to a shop and have them hook an oil pressure tester up and drive the vehicle. If you are lucky, it might be a malfunction with the gauge, light, or sending unit.

Oil pressure sensors do have a history of going bad on the 3.4L engines. You need to verify what your oil pressure is first. Most places can check it out for you. If the oil pressure is truely low, It could be the engine bearings are worn. If it's just the sensor, they are not very expensive to replace.
