1994 pontiac firebird wont start for some reason!?

okay so my mom has a firebird and it has been having starting problems it acts like its outta gas! sometimes it will start sometimes it wont when it does start it starts everytime but we let it sit overnight and it wont start the next day! anyone got any ideas?
people i dont care what you think about the age of the car i just want to know if anyone could give me any ideas why its doing this? **** new cars they are uglier then shit and i drive a 1990 honda accord and it looks better then any new car out there SO F off just answer the question dont give me stupid by a new car! i dont care i dont got the money an neither does my mom so if u dont know whats wrong dont comment kk thanks

okay first ignore the idiots that said oh it's a 16 year old car and to get another car.. wasting your time. might need a new fuel pump, or the starter itself could be acting up. best bet is the mechanic.

Well first off, how long has it been since it has had any maintenence such as a tune up and filters ?
