My system is r12 and my compressor is bad. Can i get by with just changing the compressor and accumulator when switching to r134, or is it worth the time and money to replace the condenser and evaperator, i dont mind the condenser but the evaperator looks like a pain to replace.

Suggest that you'll need to flush the system out - to be rid of all the old refrigerant oil.

Condenser and evaporator will be fine to re-use, accumulator /drier needs to be changed to one for R134, some recommend changing all the O-Rings but I don't think this is necessary.

Some low pressure cutout switches are adjustable - suggest to dial it down to about 22psi - about 1/8 turn CCW with the adjusting screw.

Be sure to pull the proper vacuum on the system. As far as refilling, the general rule-of-thumb to get you in the ballpark is 75% of the R12 capacity.
